The fully electrical “Power-Drive” control offers exact adjustment and repeat accuracy. The saw blade height and the angle settings can be adjusted at the turn of a knob, the fine setting adjustments are carried out to tenth of a millimetre accuracy using a push button. Red LED digits display the current position in real time on the control panel.

For chip free cutting of laminated panels. The saw blade can be mechanically or electronically driven and can be set in both height and lateral position.

The electronically balanced saw arbor with dual bearing seat system is powered via a Poly-V belt. Combined this results in an almost 100 % trans­mission of power to the saw blade. The saw arbor diameter on our machinery is a standard European size of 30 mm (1,18"). We offer this size of arbor for increased stability when performing a bigger cut and also more user safery when especially using dado tooling. The standard US size arbor is 16 mm (5/8"). This is almost half the diameter of our arbor and is intended for lighter machinery with small tooling. The Felder 700 Series saw assembly is fully compatible with dado tooling. Thanks to removable flanges and table insert, the Felder designed, fully adjustable dado cutters can be used.

For a convenient option we can equip your Felder 700 Series machine with start buttons for the main and scoring blades.

The beveled miter scale with hairline readout is visible from the operating area and thus allows exact reading of the required crosscut value.

The dual dust extraction for the shaper via the shaper fence and the chip collection bin under the cutterhead ensures clean and trouble free operation.

Heavy chip loads are no problem for the chip ­extraction hood due to its efficient design and large dimension.

The fully electrical “Power-Drive” planer table control offers the most precise adjustment and repeat accuracy. With a twist of the knob, you can quickly adjust the planing height, then fine-adjust using the button. An integrated LED-display displays the actual value.

The solid cast iron cutter-block housing is built for heavy duty work. The serrated steel infeed roller and the micro-serrated steel outfeed roller guarantee a perfect transport of the workpiece through the machine. Both steel rollers are large dimensioned and non-wearing. If desired we can equip your AD 941 with a rubber infeed roller. This allows workpieces of varying thicknesses to be processed at the same time, equalling out any differences in thickness. The combination of cutterblock, transport rollers and wood type is decisive for perfect planing resuts. The new Felder AD 941 can be individually configured and specified to meet your exact requirements.

Simple choice for the fad drive. Speeds of 20 ft /min. and 40 ft. /min.

The space saving jointer guard integrated into the machine chassis stabilizes the workpiece when jointing and beveling.

Electronic precision! The patented double-mitre gauge from Felder allows for mitre cuts on pieces with different widths and at any angle. Easy to use: Simply enter the desired angle as well as the widths of your work pieces on the keyboard. Immediately you will receive the settings and can set the electronic double miter gauge accordingly. The fence stop on the fence can be adjusted up to 53” with the scale. Depending on set angles, the lengthcompensating vernier scale will allow you to set the exact work piece length when you do angle cuts.

The use of a power feeder ensures that standard work when moulding can be carried out cleanly and precisely.

The Felder device for tilting the feeder away means the power feeder always remains on the machine and can be used at any moment without problems.

The jointer fence may be tilted to any degree between 90° to 45°. There are positive-stops at the 90° and 45° positions.

The rip fence is easy and smooth to adjust, with a single-handed clamping mechanism. The optional fine adjustment makes precise measurements possible. The rip scale is easy to read and perfectly integrated into the machine table.

The Horizontal Mortiser is mounted on the jointer-planer side. An optional dowelling device can be added to increase the mortiser capability.

In addition, index positions at 15º, 20º, 25º, 30º, 35º, 40º and 45º can be used when working with the fence in both the fore and aft positions on the outrigger. Every index position is equipped with a length compensator and individual fine adjustment. This highly precise Felder degree index system is adjusted at the factory. This cost effective index system integrates well into the machine design and will increase your productivity.

The crosscut fence can be positioned between 90°-45° and has one crosscut stop as standard. There is a fixed end stop position for 90°.

The crosscut fence is 43” (1100 mm) for crosscuts between +45° and –45°. The fence can be attached to the sliding table with out the use of tools. The positive stop provides you with the exact 90° position. The beveled miter scale with hairline readout is visible from the operating area and thus allows exact reading of the required crosscut value. The large crosscut fence stops are constructed so that a small tongue on the stop fits perfectly into a machined groove on the fence. This keeps the stop firmly in place for both straight and mitered cuts.

The spindle quick-change system will provide you with almost limitless possibilities of use. You can use shaper spindles with pre-mounted moulding tools for moulding in series, but also spindles of various diameters. Spindle changes can be done in a few seconds. A particular highlight is the ability to mount a high speed router spindle with 15,000 rpm capability.
